John C. Murphy Health Center is a new two-story, 93,000 sqft medical facility located in St. Louis, Missouri. The new health center is modern and spacious with state-of-the-art ‘green’ technology and will serve as the main administrative headquarters for the Department of Health.
Classic Stone worked with Clayco, a top design-build contractor in the Midwest, to assist with the sampling, specification guidance and supply of natural stone for the new facility. Cream marble tile was used for the flooring and stairway in the lobby area along with a patterned combination of Olive and Cappuccino marble to guide foot traffic. The atrium also features a stunning water feature cladded with Absolute Black granite.
The facility received LEED Gold certification and welcomed its first patients in August 2012.
