11 Howard: Upscale Boutique Hotel Opens Doors

RFR, Manhattan-based real estate investment, development, and management company, has expanded their hospitality portfolio in New York City with the recent opening of 11 Howard in Soho. This upscale boutique hotel was designed by Anda Andrei and SPACE Copenhagen with a unique blend of “Scandinavian minimalist meets New York realism” (11 Howard.com).

Classic Stone supplied and installed Light Mocha porcelain tiles and mosaics for all 221-hotel bathrooms along with Fior di Bosco marble for the second-floor guest bathrooms. Ash Gray quarry tile was used in ‘the blond’, the properties trendy bar and lounge, kitchen/service areas and administrative offices. The Presidential Suite features Absolute Black granite for the bar countertop and backsplash.

The hotel’s ambiance is inviting and warm with eclectic art pieces scattered throughout the property. In addition to the bar and lounge, you will also find a quaint social space and classy dining venue.

Installation was completed in early 2016, and the hotel welcomed their first guests in April.
