Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
– Assisting Project Executives, General Superintendents to run the project on time and within the budget and discussing daily/weekly/monthly issues with Project Managers, Structural Engineers, Architects and Owners to solve these problems ahead of time in the most cost-efficient way
– Mainly responsible for detail work including interior stone finishes and tile work from early design development stage to completion by comparing contract drawings with the revised drawings and preparing change orders based on alterations
– Estimating takeoffs and preparing proposals for the works including all interior applications and exterior paver/dimensional stones and directly managing short term schedules, creating long term schedules to ultimately avoid any potential delays.
– Processing interior material submittals, solving discrepancies in between architectural drawings, structural drawings, and shop drawings to get the final approved field drawings and supervising daily construction work and laborers in accordance with the shop drawings and designated schedule and implementing engineering procedures to comply with safety requirements.
