Through the generosity of a Qatari philanthropist, a remarkable new mosque is being developed in Al Khor, a beautiful coastal city in northern Qatar.

Classic Stone, LLC (Classic Stone) has been awarded the exterior stone contract for the mosque’s extensive courtyard area. The scope of work includes nearly 40 ornate columns and over 27,000 sqft of natural stone pavers throughout the tranquil space.

During the design phase, Classic Stone worked with the project team to provide stone samples and recommendations that aligned with the clients vision. With a soft, neutral color palette, the courtyard will feature a luxurious selection of marble sourced from Greece and Turkey.

Fabrication is well underway with material delivery flowing over the coming weeks.

The new mosque will be open to the public and is slated for completion in late fall 2021.
