10 Sullivan, coined “The New Beacon of Soho”, was completed in the spring of 2016. This modern and elegant 16-story condominium project now stands as the neighborhood’s tallest residential building. The flatiron-shaped tower features neoclassical elegance with contemporary aspects, while honoring the neighborhoods rich architectural legacy.
White dolomite tiles and mosaics are featured in the master bathrooms, giving the space a soft, tranquil look and feel. We mixed it up in the secondary bathrooms and powder rooms using Silver Wave and Pietra Serena marbles. Calacatta marble, with its dramatic gold and gray veining, was selected for the kitchen countertops and backsplash, complementing the kitchen cabinets and appliances perfectly.
The specifications required sourcing from four different countries with a clearly defined vision for the natural stone elements. A mock-up was prepared on-site in New York, along with control samples at each of the factories, to ensure the rigid specifications for the stonework were being met at all times.
