In 2012, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) announced plans for a steady expansion program across Qatar. Classic Stone was brought on board during the design phase and assisted QIB with extensive sampling, material selection and specification guidance. A fresh, modern design was developed with slight variations for different branch types.
The bank branches are light and airy with a neutral color pallette, aside from touches of teal blue, their signature color. White glass stone and Beige marble are being used for the flooring tile, a perfect fit for the new design scheme.
The first pilot branch was unveiled in 2013 with three additional branches completed shortly thereafter. Future expansion plans include a handful of new branches throughout the country with design and construction efforts underway.
