SIMÒ PIZZA has opened their second New York City location in the heart of Greenwich Village, transporting New Yorkers to Naples with their famous Neapolitan pizzas.
Designed by Koray Duman of Büro Koray Duman, the interiors are light and airy, inspired by traditional pizza kiosks found in Naples, Italy. The historical space, which was formerly the famed Albert Hotel, is centered by an open kitchen, chef’s counter, custom paneled kiosks and stonewall shelving.
Classic Stone worked closely with the design team to provide samples and recommendations for various stone options for the stonewall shelving. A unique beige volcanic stone from Italy, called Tufa stone, was selected and cleverly displays their imported Italian ingredients.
SIMÒ PIZZA welcomed eager pizza lovers to their new location in September 2021.
