The Curve Hotel, developed by Ezdan, is the newest addition to West Bay’s hotel scene. The unique arched structure imitates the curvature of the Corniche shoreline and offers unbelievable sea views from every angle. With over 600 guest rooms, the property also caters to local residents with serviced apartment options.
The interiors are contemporary and fresh with classic Arabian touches. Gray Wood stone flows throughout the lobby, with an eye-catching herringbone pattern on the floor, and flawless vein continuation throughout the space. To achieve this design, we fabricated the vein-cut tiles with 45-degree edges and made careful selections to ensure continuity. The wall cladding maintains the same horizontal veining as the floors, but presents a more random look by utilizing a mix of tile sizes.
The corridor walls are also adorned with Gray Wood stone, pairing beautifully with beige Italian travertine flooring, also sourced and supplied by Classic Stone.
The fit-out construction was completed in the fall of 2016 and the hotel welcomed its first hotel guests in November.
