Classic Stone LLC (Classic Stone) has been awarded an exterior cladding contract for one of the towers within the Waterline Square development located along the Hudson River in Manhattan.

Developed by GID, this exclusive waterfront real estate features three towers comprised of luxury apartments and condominiums interconnected by the Waterline Club, an impressive 100,000 sqft amenities facility. At the center of the development is a 2.6-acre park, designed by Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects (MNLA), offering an outdoor oasis accessible from each tower.

Classic Stone was specified through MNLA for the exterior stone cladding at Three Waterline Square, located at the southeast corner of the development. The 34-story building, designed by Rafael Vinoly, stands out with its striking exterior resembling faceted crystals. Black basalt, sourced and supplied from Turkey, will be installed at the ground floor level of the building and parking garage area.

Fabrication for the basalt cladding is complete with delivery expected in the coming weeks. While many areas of the project are now open, final completion is slated for 2020.
