RFR, Manhattan-based real estate investment, development, and management company, has expanded their hospitality portfolio in New York City. 11 Howard has been getting a lot of buzz in the media, and rightly so, as this upscale boutique hotel in Soho is destined to become a classic!
The hotel’s ambiance is inviting and warm with quaint social space, an upscale restaurant, and a trendy bar and lounge. The interior design elements, designed by Anda Andrei Design and SPACE Copenhagen, are innovative and unique, “where Scandinavian minimalist meets New York realism” (11howard.com).
Classic Stone supplied and installed Light Mocha porcelain tiles and mosaics for all 221-hotel bathrooms along with Fior di Bosco marble for the second-floor guest bathrooms. Ash Gray quarry tile flooring was used in the bar and lounge, kitchen/service areas, and administrative offices. The Presidential Suite features Absolute Black granite for the bar countertop and backsplash.
Installation was completed in early 2016, and 11 Howard welcomed its first guests in April. With every reservation booked directly through 11 Howard, a percentage of the revenue is donated towards the Global Poverty Project.
