In 2022, Bellagio Las Vegas updated and refreshed the luxurious Club Privé and Baccarat areas, home to their high-limit lounge and private gaming salons.
Designed by Wimberly Interiors, the space is elevated and exclusive, yet open and inviting to all guests. A beautiful refresh of the venue captures the Northern Italian influence of the Bellagio with lavish furnishings, fixtures and finishes.
Classic Stone was awarded the entire stone contract for the project. The scope of work included marble flooring, fluted wall tiles in the restrooms, slabs for custom table tops and planters, and the most striking element of the space, a custom entry portal. The dome entry was fabricated entirely from a block of Calacatta Viola marble.
Classic Stone worked closely with the project team to study the feasibility of the entry portal from a production standpoint. Prior to production, a 3D design was created to better understand the intricate design and dimensions required.
Suitable blocks were transferred to the factory where epoxy was adhered and then cut with a CNC machine. A bit like a puzzle, each piece was numbered and dry laid to ensure vein continuity and a smooth installation process on-site. Special packaging was required and the dome structure was air freighted to meet the tight construction schedule and opening.
The timeless sophistication and opulence of Club Privé continues to be a favorite among lifelong guests and newcomers alike.
